Anna Kinbom

The work’s title is ”Lixo Palermo/Palermo Garbage” and the photos are made by me, Anna Kinbom (SE) and Alaide Batista (BR). The exhibition was in the living room of Hostel Redención situated in the part of town called Palermo in Buenos Aires on June 27th 2014. It was up for one night and we offered Choripan with chimmichurri (sausage with a special sauce) to the guests, the guests brought drinks. I made a performance during the evening. I sang a song that is about the art world and the football world. Videoed here Code: fifa
Some people didn’t want to leave the party and got too drunk and rude. Maybe this story around the pictures doesn’t help the pics, but the evening ended very nicely. It ended at the Rock club Salón Pueyrredón. The evening was announced as ”Good bye party with some surprises” and people I had met during my stay in Buenos Aires were invited.

The exhibition was rewarded with Julian Turner’s Turner Prize on December 1st 2014.
